 Russell Gordon, shown here at a Steinway grand, was president of the New York City Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild during 1989-1991.

...... He studied with his father, Paul Gordon, an
accomplished piano builder and pianist. The family has provided
piano service in the area for over fifty years. Originally trained
as a biochemist, Mr. Gordon has brought a scientific approach to the art
of piano craft. He is much sought after for his concert and
repair services. His rebuilding and action work have earned a
deserved reputation for the highest quality. He is proud to have been
selected to rebuild pianos for Laurance Rockefeller, Lila Acheson Wallace
